Care Guide for Your Olang Boots
All OLANG boots are treated during manufacturing and require minimal upkeep. Consistent, gentle care helps maintain the rich suede texture and extends the life of your boots:
- Routine Cleaning: Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt, salt, and slush. Do not use harsh soaps or chemical cleaners.
- Drying: Always allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources (baseboard heaters, radiant heated floors, hair dryers).
- Protective Sprays: Ensure any protector spray is suitable for suede and nubuck, and test on a small, hidden area before full application.
- End-of-Season Care: Use a soft-bristle brush to remove dirt, salt residue, and small pebbles caught in the tread grooves before storing in a dry area.
IMPORTANT: Never use products containing silicone. Silicone destroys the protective coating on the suede upper and can degrade outsole adhesives, risking water leakage and separation.
