Care Guide for Your Olang Boots
All OLANG boots are pre-treated during production and need minimal maintenance. Regular care preserves the texture of the suede and extends the lifespan of your boots:
- Routine Cleaning: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt, slush, and salt residues. Never use harsh soaps or chemical cleaners.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources (baseboard heaters, radiant heated floors, hair dryers).
- Protective Sprays: Ensure any care spray is compatible with suede, and test on a small, discreet area before applying all over.
- End-of-Season Care: Use a soft-bristle brush to clear out dried mud, salt residue, and pebbles from the tread and cleat hinges before dry storage.
IMPORTANT: Never use products containing silicone. Silicone strips away the protective barrier applied to the materials and will weaken outsole adhesives, risking separation and damage.
