Care Guide for Your Olang Boots
All OLANG boots are treated during manufacturing and require minimal upkeep. Consistent, gentle care will preserve the glossy finish and extend the life of your boots throughout the season:
- Routine Cleaning: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt, slush, and salt residues. Never use abrasive cleaners or detergents.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources (baseboard heaters, radiant heated floors, hair dryers).
- Protective Sprays: Ensure the product is rated safe for synthetic materials (PU), and always test on a discreet patch before full application.
- End-of-Season Care: Clean the tread and cleat hinges using a soft-bristle brush to remove grit, salt, and small pebbles before storing in a dry location.
IMPORTANT: Never use products containing silicone. Silicone will compromise the protective coating on the material, weaken the outsole adhesives, and damage waterproof integrity.
