Composition and materials

Upper: Birko-Flor® Nubuck
Birko-Flor® Nubuck offers a look and feel very similar to genuine nubuck, with a soft, velvety surface.

Insole: natural leather
Natural leather is recognizable by its untreated surface. Birkenstock intentionally allows the grain and characteristics inherent to the leather to show through. The upper is made of sturdy leather, 2.8 to 3.2 mm thick.

Anatomical footbed: cork
Cork is a sustainable material, sourced from the bark of the cork oak. Naturally insulating, it provides excellent cushioning and long-lasting comfort.

Outsole: EVA
EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) is a lightweight, highly flexible, and durable material, offering excellent cushioning. It smooths out uneven ground for soft steps.
